
Attracting the next generation of talent for Mitie’s Technical Services apprenticeships.
Driving diversity from minority and BAME groups into STEM roles.
Mitie wanted to launch their Technical Services Apprenticeship programme, raising awareness, generating demand and standout amongst diverse candidates from minority and BAME groups. The initial target was to recruit 20 new apprentices and drive a larger intake for the following year.
To achieve this objective, we created a bold campaign using a simple call-to-action, #SignupSkillup. This was supported by provoking language that engaged our GenZ audience - dispelling myths surrounding apprenticeships and highlighting opportunities to gain new skills.
As a result, over 1,200 applications were received within 1 week. Delivering beyond the initial request and building a substantial pipeline for future intakes to the Technical Services Academy.
